Fish are highly susceptible to even the smallest changes within the quality of the water and this can have drastic effects on your fish so ensuring that your water quality levels are maintained is key to creating and promoting the best conditions for your pond life.

Water quality is tested as a standard part of our service to you on a call out, as most cases of fish illnesses can be caused or made worse by a compromised immune system. the immune system can be affected negatively by poor water quality.

This affects the fish by causing:

Water quality cannot be determined by the colour of the water, the water may look pristine and lack any cloudiness or impurities. Yet the toxicity of the water maybe poisonous to both fish and humans.
